About

ALLEYWAYS, the Leeds based Pop-Indie outfit bring their alternative stance on pop culture to the new indie generation. ALLEYWAYS highlights the parody of click-bait, social likes and viral culture. Living in a click today - gone today, hollow digital society, ALLEYWAYS spread the message of not taking any of it too seriously. Social media is an invaluable asset that when used positively, can do incredible things for both band and audience.

Their punchy tunes, brought to life by frontman Dougie Turner’s electric presence weave a spell over the tight groove provided by bassist and producer George Barwick. Saxophonist, Stu Whyte adds an extra dimension to the sound that’s completed by the glittering funky guitar of Ben Clark.

Now reaching 4000 Spotify streams on their EP ‘Does It Matter?’, released in May 2019 and having supported the likes of Fickle Friends, King No One, Glass Caves and Cassia, ALLEYWAYS are set to have an amazing year ahead. They are busy enchanting audiences across the North in venues such as Leeds Uni Stylus, The Wardrobe and Fibbers. They are also being played on BBC Radio 6, BBC Introducing and being playlisted in ‘Indie Belters’ and ‘Indie Pop Block’, in advance of their new EP ‘OMG Listen To The End!!! *Gone Wrong*’ set for release in 2020.

You can hear a digital ALLEYWAYS on all major streaming platforms, you can see a digital ALLEYWAYS on YouTube, but nothing beats the power of ALLEYWAYS live.
